Henry Doswell

Principal Solicitor

Henry has over 20 years’ experience as an employment lawyer. Having spent his career working for specialist employment law firms in the City, West End and Canary Wharf, he has the necessary combination of legal expertise and commercial awareness to protect and promote his clients’ interests. He often acts for businesses in the professional services sector including solicitors, accountants and dental practices who require cost-effective, specialist advice.

Henry is an accredited ADR Group workplace mediator and a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.

Henry regularly speaks on BBC Radio Kent about topical HR and employment law issues. He has also appeared on BBC South East Today.

Sophie Berryman

HR Consultant

Sophie has over 20 years’ experience in Human Resources, having worked for SMEs and corporates as well as providing independent consultancy services. She has a solid foundation in HR, which is complemented by her strong knowledge and proven experience in change management, culture & engagement, talent management and L&D.

Sophie is a Chartered Member of the CIPD and a Fellow of the LPI (Learning and Performance Institute).

Alexandra Bone

Employment Law Paralegal

Alexandra is a highly experienced executive assistant with over 30 years’ experience. Before joining Doswell Law in December 2018, she provided operational and administrative support to various businesses in the UK and elsewhere in Europe.

She has particular expertise in human resources administration, including updating employee handbooks, running recruitment processes, and assisting with formal grievance procedures.

In addition to a degree in modern languages and a diploma in translation with a law specialism, she also holds a Certificate in Vocational Paralegal Studies and a Level 6 Certificate in Law (Practice of Employment Law) both awarded by the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives.

Gemma Davies

Personal Assistant

Gemma is an experienced administrative professional with over 15 years of success across a wide range of administrative roles, supporting teams and directors in both global organisations and smaller, fast‑paced firms.

Her broad background enables her to ensure the smooth and efficient running of our internal processes enabling the firm to remain fully focused on delivering exceptional results for every client.
